  I fail to see how clogging up local court systems with suits against individual JWs is going to accomplish anything, Mad. It might give some satisfaction to vindictive individuals but it won't hurt the Watchtower Society at all. The judgment was against the Jdub who annoyed the householder, NOT against the congregation or the Society.

  I like the way you condemn everyone here for not doing what you think we should, Mad. Tell you what: you go first, you contact those churches and drum up some rage in your community, direct it against the r&f dubs in your vicinity, and come back and report here how much difference you made against the Society's legal machine.

  Be sure to publicly downplay the sterling work of Silentlambs and the many behind the scenes who are actually working to force Brooklyn to some accountability for their crimes against innocents while you are tooting your horn over your successes against individual window washers. Be sure to downplay the effect of national media exposure given to important issues, while you enjoy posting whatever local newspaper article you get written about your vendetta against individual cultists.

  last night, i found myself wondering aloud about something i never thought i would consider: purchasing a gun.

  previously, i had very strong anti-gun sentiments.

  i felt, and still do to some extent, that freely available guns in this country are an immediate threat to children and add to the violent perception others have of americans.

Suffice it to say that this morning I am wishing with all my heart that there really is a hellfire so Gee Dubya and his ilk for sure get what they deserve.

  Seeker, I don't think what you see is 'anti-intellectualism'. It's anti-impenetrability. Duns is using philosophical pseudointellectualism as a weapon, for no other reason than to amuse himself, at the expense of those he self-admittedly views as vile and apostate. Every moment spent trying to penetrate his impenetrable doubletalk is a moment wasted, one that rightfully could be spent debunking the evil cult he endorses wholeheartedly. He likes it that way. He gets a jolt out of talking down to others, obviously, and has admitted that his dabbling here is mere dilettantism. He has no respect for anyone here; he shouldn't expect any in return. Especially since he is too chickenshit to come out and play under the same persona with which he defends the cult. Of course, if he did that, he would have to face the elders yet again, and he has already said in one of his previous incarnations that he prefers to make up new personalities in order to avoid that. Why should anyone give a second's respect or consideration to a lying coward? He has certainly done exactly nothing to warrant any. He deserves every ounce of scorn and derision he's bought for himself here.

  Just because a troll has a set of Britannica's Great Philosophers and a thesaurus, doesn't make him any less a stinking troll.

  i just had my navel pierced yesterday.

  My ears are pierced just the typical once, although a friend is trying to tempt me to get another set by offering me some pretty gold hoops.

  Papa's ears are pierced two holes in each ear; he wears a combo of hoops and studs that make him look piratically fierce, and I love it.

  His pet conure (affectionately known as Norman Bates with good reason )loves the earrings; he loves to steal one of the hoops and then hang by his beak off the other one. It sure looks cute/funny when he hangs above Papa's shoulder. Norman also loves to hook his feet into a guy's beard and hang upsidedown swinging. Hilarious! As long as we have birdbrain I doubt Papa will try any body piercing; Norman would just view it as another toy for his amusement...the things we forego for our kids! (sigh) LOL. Papa does NOT need tongue piercing, his tongue is perfect as it is.

  Maybe us fat broads should try to make a fad of getting our arm flab pierced; ROFL at THAT visual!
